Peggy Turnbow: Master Stylist

Peggy strives to listen and communicate with her clients in order to give them the best service she knows how. She has thoroughly loved working at Avalon for the past 20 years, enjoying her co-workers and clientèle. She believes making someone feel better about how they look can change someone’s day for the better. She has been in the industry for over 30 years, working with many different professional lines but exclusively with Aveda for 25 years. She has had a wide array of continuing education but mostly in cutting and coloring. Working with Aveda and Avalon, she has had the opportunity to travel to Minneapolis, New York, Las Vegas and California to work with their professional talent. She believes it has been a rewarding opportunity to have had these experiences and meet such talented people.
Stefanie Romero: Master Stylist

Stefanie has been working at Avalon since 2006. She enjoys making people feel beautiful and happy. She graduated from the Aveda Institute and did her apprenticeship here at Avalon Salon. She loves working out and being outside hiking, running and swimming.

Kate Neufeld: Massage Therapist
Kate has been a massage therapist for over 25 years. She originally graduated from IPSB in San Diego, CA and in 2018 she went through another program at East-West Healing Arts in Madison, WI to learn Asian modalities and philosophies. She can give a great relaxation Swedish massage, but especially loves to deliver therapeutic deep work to the neck, shoulders and back areas. Her massages are a fusion of all that she has learned over the years and feels that we are all unique human beings, and no massage is a one size fits all. She loves what she does and considers it more of a calling than a job.
Milo Shattell: Massage Therapist
Milo graduated from Denver Integrative Massage School in 2019, where he learned a wide array of techniques that he integrates into his practice. He believes that the mind and body are deeply connected, and that regular bodywork is the key to better mental and physical health. Milo is devoted to working with his clients to ease pain, discomfort, and stress while also helping them to prevent these triggers in the future.
